Albertina

The Albertina houses the largest and most valuable graphic print collections in the world including Dürer's "Young Hare" and Klimt's studies of women. Its new collection presents masterpieces of Modernism, ranging from Monet and Picasso to Baselitz. As the largest Habsburg residential palace, the Albertina sits at the southern tip of the Hofburg on one of the last sections of Vienna's original city walls.

MAK - Museum of Applied Arts

In the MAK, design plays a central role. The museum shows furniture, glass, china, silver, and textiles from the Middle Ages to the present day. Precious crafts from the Wiener Werkstätte, bentwood furniture by Thonet, and art nouveau highlights such as the gilded design by Gustav Klimt for the frieze of the Palais Stoclet in Brussels.

Museum of Natural History (Naturhistorisches Museum Wien)
